Paint Correction

Our Services

A process that involves restoring and rejuvenating the paintwork of your vehicle to remove imperfections and restore its original shine and clarity. Over time, your clear coat can develop various defects and blemishes such as swirl marks, scratches, oxidation, water spots, and other surface-level imperfections. Paint correction is designed to address these issues and improve the overall appearance of the paint giving a deep glossy finish, a showroom shine

Wash: The vehicle is thoroughly washed to remove dirt, debris, and loose contaminants from the surface.

Inspection: The paint is carefully inspected to assess its condition, including swirls, scratches, oxidation, and other imperfections.

Paint decontamination: Specialized products are used to remove bonded contaminants like tar, tree sap, and industrial fallout from the paint surface.

Paint measurement: A paint thickness gauge is used to measure the thickness of the paint layers to ensure there is sufficient material to work with during the correction process.

Paint correction: This is the main step, it all depends on vehicles condition whether it’s going to need a stage 1 or Stage 2 where the imperfections in the paint are addressed. It involves a series of abrasive steps using various compounds and polishing pads. The goal is to remove a thin layer of clear coat to eliminate scratches, swirl marks, and other defects, revealing a smoother and more vibrant finish.

Finishing polish: After the correction process, a finer polish is applied to further refine the paint surface and enhance its gloss. This step helps to remove any remaining haze or micro-marring caused by the previous correction stages.
